We are delighted to share our new Perspective in ACS Omega: Solving the Computational Peptide Design Puzzle: Challenges and Opportunities.
This is a deliverable of SNOOPY Working Group 1, born from our meeting in Cres and developed through an incredible collaboration between 6 research labs across 4 countries by Mathijs Mabesoone, Ioana M. ILIE, HR Daniela Kalafatovic, HR Goran Mausa, Aysenur Iscen, and Ivan Sasselli!
In the perspective, WG1 Members discuss current challenges and possible directions for the field of computational peptide design, identifying missing essential pieces of the puzzle and exploring now we can make better use of molecular simulations, machine learning, and experimental data and what should change to make computational predictions more reliable and useful.
A great example of what the SNOOPY network can achieve through collaboration. Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved!
